Series: Kick of the Gods — the daily-life manga of ANCHORAGE, a kickboxing gym with 4 locations in Fukuoka, Japan.
About this episode: Episode 9, first published in Japanese on July 2, 2014, under the title "Today open! The ring is installed too!!" A personally imported assembly-type boxing ring arrives from Thailand, and Lord Vishvakarma, the god of creation, appears to help put it together. But even the god of architecture and crafts cuts his finger — and Ryota shouts for Kenta to bring band-aids…

Panel 3
- Kenta (thought): “Huh, so he doesn't just do it with telekinesis…”

Notes
- The outside title "I Personally Imported One Ring" tells how the ring in this episode arrived: one ring, imported personally (not through a shop).
- Lord Vishvakarma makes his first appearance here. In Hindu mythology he is the god of creation, and also the god of architecture and crafts — which is why he shows up holding a saw and a hammer.
- The box label "Assembly ring", the boat's "THAILAND" mark and the "アンカレ" shirt logo are part of the artwork, so they are kept as in the original in the image; their translations are given in the dialogue above.
- Kenta's thought in Panel 3 ("he doesn't just do it with telekinesis…") is his silent reaction to seeing a god assemble the ring by hand, and his "Even though he's a god." mutter carries into Panel 4's "A band-aid!? Even though he's a god!?"
- In Panel 4, Kenta's "A band-aid!?" echoes Ryota's "Bring the band-aids!!" in surprise — the joke is that a god of crafts still cuts his finger. The Kansai "〜てもた" in "指切ってもた" means "accidentally did".
- The free-written lines ("わーい。" / "いいんすか!?" / "あっ" / "あざーっ!!" / "ハハハ" / "神なのに。") are kept as in the original in the image, following the practice of earlier episodes; their translations are given in the dialogue above. The speakers of "あっ" (Panel 2) and "Are you all right!?" (Panel 4) are estimated from their positions, as noted in the dialogue above.
- IMPORTANT ARCHIVE NOTE: the "today open" and "ring installed" in the episode title are from the original July 2, 2014 announcement. They are NOT current opening or equipment information.
- This is an archive episode from July 2, 2014, from the very start of the series.
