- Ganesha: the Hindu elephant-headed god, drawn here with a yellow cap and purple skin — making his first appearance in this episode.
- The outside title “Welcome to the Twilight Zone” is a nod to the classic TV series about strange, uncanny happenings — fitting for a morning when the gods suddenly become visible.
- Panel 4 speaker attribution is inferred from context: Ryota, waking up in bed, welcomes Kenta, while Kenta shouts at the sight of the elephant god.
- Sound effects (polishing, level-up chime, waking with a start) are left in the original Japanese, as in the other episodes.
