Notes
- The outside title "The ANCALE Rule" is the gym's made-up rule: never mention yakitori in front of Lord Garuda.
- Garuda makes his first appearance here: the sacred bird of Hindu tradition, the mount of Vishnu, and the motif of the ANCHORAGE logo. The red-logo T-shirt Ryota wears in Panel 1 is the T-shirt of the episode title, and the red shorts in Panels 2–3 are the half pants.
- "Monster Hunter" renders the Japanese "モンハン" — Kenta mistakes Garuda for a monster from the game.
- Panels 2's first and third bubbles form a single interrupted sentence ("I'm hungry too, so… yakitori nearby…"); the third bubble is cut off mid-word and interrupted by Ryota's offer and Panel 3's scolding.
- Panel 3's "Kenta!" is attributed to Ryota from context: he scolds Kenta by name for nearly inviting a bird god for grilled chicken skewers.
- The sound effect "ぐっ" in Panel 3 is kept as in the original in the image, following the practice of earlier episodes; its translation is given in the dialogue above.
- The red vertical banner in Panel 4 is translated white-on-red in the image, and the yellow caption box is translated in full.
